A smattering of tweets from Day 5 of the Championships…
1. As Bob Bryan proves when he hammers his brother Mike with a serve during Day 5 doubles action: It’ ain’t your grandaddy’s doubles anymore! Listen to the sound of that direct hit. And the horrified groan of the crowd. The Bryans won in four over Johnson and Querrey to reach the third round.
2. Oh, it isn’t so bad. Just ask Nick Kyrgios. Just turn your headband inside out and you’re good to go, mate.
3. In case you were wondering, the grass is hard. How else would Nick Kyrgious set the all-time racuet smash amplitude record? My, how the game has changed.
4. This is awful sweet of little sis. I guess when you deal with what Serena dealt with whilst playing Heather Watson on Centre Court today, you realize you don’t really need the crowd.

10. During her match with Serena Williams, Heather Watson was trending all the way up on Twitter, above the Doors’ frontman. Wait, is this 1973?
