Murray Wimbledon

Andy Murray had rough time on Saturday at Wimbledon, but not as rough as one confused linesperson who called his match.

A smattering of tweets from Day 6 of the Championships…

1. Dustin Brown redefines the word backspin on this wicked return of serve vs. Viktor Troicki on Day 6.

2. Nobody said calling lines was easy. Sometimes you just don’t know. Is it in? Out? Too bad this linesperson couldn’t challenge!

3. This lowlight isn’t from Day 6, but it’s so funny we’re still laughing on Day 6. One of Belinda’s few bad shots this week at Wimbledon…

4. Best pic of the tournament? Jelena Jankovic celebrates her upset of defending champion Petra Kvitova with a backwards tumble on the grass.

5. Despite this cannon, Roger Federer was still able to get by BOMB-serving Aussie Sam Groth in four. The serve (147) is now the second-fasted serve in Wimbledon history.

6. 21-year-old Garbine Muguruza prevails in the set of the tournament, an 83-minute odyssey that saw her save nine set points.

7. Never—and we mean NEVER—a dull moment with Gael Monfils.

8. Lleyton Hewitt is still alive in the doubles draw after he and Thanasi Kokkinakis came back from 2-1 down to win in five over Linstedt and Melzer.

9. Maybe it’s time to stop saying Roger Federer dislikes Hawk-Eye?

10. During her match with Serena Williams, Heather Watson was trending all the way up on Twitter, above the Doors’ frontman. Wait, is this 1973?

11. (Because this one goes to 11) Finally, the roof closed! Leave it to Gael Monfils, tennis’s No. 1 roof-raiser to hit the first balls under the roof.
