Kerber improved to 5-0 at in Tour-level matches against Lisiciki by playing a near-perfect match. She made 79 percent of first serves and only committed seven unforced errors in the 63-minute affair.

“Every single match starts from zero and it’s always a challenge to play a match against a German player—somebody you know so well,” Kerber said. “I was only focusing on my game and it worked, so I’m happy to be in the final.”

Kerber only lost ten points on serve and did not face a single break point against Lisicki. She reached her third career grass-court final and will face Karolina Pliskova in the final.

Kerber has split four career battles with the Czech, but has lost the last two. They have never met on grass.

“Karolina is a great server as well,” Kerber said. “It will not be easy.”

The winner of tomorrow's final will end up on the Top 10, as Pliskova would replace Kerber if she wins, and Kerber will remain at No. 10 if she wins:
