It took six months, but Agnieszka Radwanska has finally reached her first final of 2015. Her opponent in the Eastbourne final, a talented 18-year-old by the name of Belinda Bencic, is playing her second final in three weeks.

Radwanska won four the fourth time in four career battles against Sloane Stephens, 6-1, 6-7(3), 6-2, to reach the final on Friday at the Aegon International. The world No. 13, seeded ninth, saved all ten break points she faced to take the opener, then dropped the second set against the determined American in a tiebreaker.

But Radwanska rallied in the decider to deny Stephens her first career final, breaking twice on five opportunities to claim the third set and the match.

"The match was up and down throughout, so I had to fight for each ball because she was playing great," Radwanska said, according to WTATennis.com. "I had some chances in the second set but she was just too good in the important moments and I'm just glad to finish the match in three sets."

Radwanska improves to 48-19 lifetime on grass and will bid for her 15th career title on Saturday. The Pole is a former champion at Eastbourne, having won the title in 2008.

Stephens, playing in her 82nd Tour-level event, has still yet to reach a final. She drops to 0-6 in semifinals with the loss.

In the other semifinal, Belinda Bencic reached her second grass-court final of 2015 when Caroline Wozniacki retired due to a back injury while down 3-0 in the first set. Bencic improves to 10-2 on grass this season and improves her career record in semifinals to 3-1.

Bencic and Radwanska have never met.

The Eastbourne doubles final will feature Caroline Garcia and Katarina Srebotnik vs. Yung-Jan Chan and Jie Zheng. Garcia and Srebotnik upset top-seeds Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza, 7-5, 6-4.
