The astounding numbers just keep piling up on Serena Williams’ behalf. And there’s no indication that she’ll stop anytime soon.

Williams raced past Spain’s Carla Suarez Navarro, 6-1, 6-3, to claim her 27th consecutive win on Thursday. The victory also marks Williams 50th consecutive triumph at the WTA’s Premier Mandatory level—she’s also won 19 straight in Madrid, and six straight against Suarez Navarro.

Williams struck 43 winners on the day against 27 unforced errors, and she saved all three break points she faced.

Williams could face Petra Kvitova in the semifinals, pending the result of the 4th seed’s encounter with Romania’s Irina-Camelia Begu later today.

Notes, Numbers

Williams owns a 5-0 lifetime edge over the Czech.

Williams owns an 83-21 lifetime record in semifinals. Her current 27-match winning streak is the second-longest of her career. She had a 34-match streak snapped by Sabine Lisicki at Wimbledon in 2013.

If Victoria Azarenka had converted one of her three match points vs. Williams on Wednesday, she would have become the 8th player in history to defeat both Williams sisters at the same event.
