A smattering of tweets from a wild—and crazy—week of tennis in Madrid.

1. Oh, Roger, you really do have a way with words. Here’s a project:  Watch this loop 100 times (with sound) and count how many times you laugh. We bet it will be 100.

2. Simply smashing, Grigor!

Rafa won, but Grigor was "smashing," as he always is. #MMOpen15

3. We’re not so sure it had a good life, but at least it was a painless death?

4. Time is running out, so you better fail better, NK.

5. Thanasi Kokkinakis was forced to pull out of Rome and enter a challenger in France because he couldn’t get a flight due to the fire at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport. Full credit to the young Aussie for having some fun with it. This kid’s a keeper!

6. Sometimes the sensations come easily, no?

7. Now that is a LOOK, Olga! What band did you say you were in?

8. Kim must be so thrilled that the ring is so close to Andy’s big, sweaty shoes—on clay no less.

9. For every player that is on a hot streak, another is in a tailspin. Welcome to tennis, where fifty percent of the players get their butt kicked in every match.

10. Cool! They need to do this at Roland Garros and break out the S’mores.

11. (Because this one goes to 11) Oh, man. Vasek Pospisil turns an ankle during a doubles match and can’t put weight on the ankle as he leaves the court. We sincerely hope it’s not as bad as it looks. Get well soon, Vasek.
