Agnieszka Radwanska is a shrewd competitor, but Garbine Muguruza continues to come up with the definitive answers in their rivalry.

Muguruza rallied for a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory—her fourth straight win over Radwanska this season—to burst into the Beijing final.

It is the second straight final for Muguruza, who was hobbled by an ankle injury losing the Wuhan final to Venus Williams last Sunday.

Playing for her second career title, Muguruza will take on Timea Bacsinszky in tomorrow's title match.

The 12th-seeded Swiss scored a 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 triumph over No. 6-seeded Ana Ivanovic in today's first semifinal that spanned two hours, 20 minutes. It was Bacsinszky's first win over the former world No. 1 in three meetings.

Muguruza has beaten Bacsinszky in both of their prior meetings—a 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 decision at the Australian Open in January followed by a 7-5, 6-3 win in the Wimbledon quarterfinals.

The fourth-seeded Radwanska played sharper angles and used her backhand down the line to break serve three times in the opening set today.

Hitting with greater depth, Muguruza turned the tables and turned up the pressure on Radwanska's second serve in the second set. Muguruza generated 10 break points, converting three to hammer her way through the set and level the match.

Commanding rallies and keeping Radwanska on the run in the early stages of the third set, Muguruza raced out to a 5-1 lead and looked poise to close the match. A stubborn Radwanska saved a match point that sparked a three-game run to close the deficit.

A visit from new coach Sam Sumyk helped settle Muguruza. The fifth-seeded Spaniard found the 2011 champion's weaker forehand wing in the 10th game. Three straight forehand errors from Radwanska ended a two hour, 13-minute test.

Muguruza, who converted eight of 18 break points, raised her record to 7-4 vs. Top 10 opponents in 2015.
