Begu claims her second career title with the win, and first in three years.
The Romanian reeled off eight straight games from 3-3 in set one to take control of things in the final. Begu entered the tournament at 29 in the world, but will rise to a career-high 26 as a result of her title.
21-year-old Sasnovich made the most of her qualifying bid. She had only won three tour-level matches prior to Korea, but reeled off four straight, including wins over third-seeded Sloane Stephens and second-seeded Anna Karolina Schmiedlova before dropping the final.
