Gilles Muller reached the finals at 's-Hertogenbosch by hammering 22 aces past Ivo Karlovic.

Gilles Muller battled past bomb-serving Ivo Karlovic and into the Ricoh Open final on Saturday. Luxembourg’s top player hammered 22 aces against 21 for Karlovic and did not face a break point. His 7-6(5), 7-6(4) victory over Karlovic sends him to his first final since 2012.

Muller’s victory snaps a streak of seven consecutive semifinal losses.
The 33-year-old will face Nicolas Mahut in the final. Mahut edged Sam Querrey, 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-4 to keep his title defense hopes alive.
Muller did not lose a single point in either tiebreak and finished the day clocking 49 of 51 first-serve points against Karlovic.
Muller owns a 0-3 record in ATP finals, losing at Atlanta to Andy Roddick (2012), Los Angeles to Andre Agassi (2005) and Washington, D.C. to Leyton Hewitt (2004).
