The 2014 Wimbledon finalist has not dropped a set this week raising her record to 12-4 on the season. It's the second semifinal of the season for Bouchard, who was runner-up to Alizé Cornet in the Hobart final in January.

Bouchard will face either Briton Naomi Broady for a spot in Sunday's final.

Broady battled by third-seeded Sabine Lisicki, 7-6 (5), 1-6, 7-5 in the day's final quarterfinal that spanned two hours, 16 minutes. Broady smacked 10 aces, while Lisicki committed eight double faults in the match.

Second-seeded Elina Svitolina shook off a slow start storming to a 1-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory over 139th-ranked Kristina Kucova to reach her second semifinal of the year. Svitolina was a Dubai semifinalist last month, falling to eventual-champion Sara Errani.

The 19th-ranked Svitolina will play 190th-ranked qualifier Lin Zhu for a spot in the final. Lin was a 6-3, 6-4 victor over Qiang Wang in an all-qualifier quarterfinal.
