Dustin Brown once dreamed of moon-walking with Michael Jackson.

Tuning into the shot-making muse, Brown glided into the Stockholm second-round today.

Unleashing four straight winners for a flashy break that sealed the second set, Brown befuddled Gilles Muller, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.

In the first ATP-level meeting between the pair, Muller broke twice to build a one-set lead.

The 74th-ranked Brown found his groove in the second set. His shot-making spree in the ninth game included successive one-handed backhand winners setting the stage for a blistering backhand return winner crosscourt that capped the break and forced a decisive set.

The lanky Jamaican-born German scored his second straight break for a 2-0 third-set lead. Brown backed-up the break sliding an ace out wide to extend the lead to 3-0.

Playing for his fourth quarterfinal of the season, Brown will face either sixth-seeded Jack Sock or Malek Jaziri for a place in the last eight.

Gastao Elias erased Ivan Dodig, 6-2, 6-1. The 61st-ranked Elias converted 5 of 17 break points in a one-hour victory.

Elias will play top-seeded Gael Monfils for the first time with a quarterfinal spot on the line.

Nicolas Almagro smacked 17 aces rallying for a 3-6, 7-6 (1), 6-3 victory over Yuichi Sugita. Almagro earned both of his breaks in the final set to advance to a second-round match with either compatriot Fernando Verdasco or 18-year-old Swedish wild card Mikael Ymer in the second round.
