Dominika Cibulkova claimed a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Carla Suárez Navarro on Saturday in Linz to set up a final with Switzerland’s Viktorija Golubic.

The victory does wonders for Cibulkova’s Singapore hopes, as it moves her ahead of Great Britain’s Johanna Konta and into 8th place in the Road to Singapore standings.

Konta is not scheduled to play next week, but Svetlana Kuznetsova and Suárez Navarro still have a chance to catch her.

According to WTATennis.com, Cibulkova can clinch qualification with a title on Sunday when she meets World No. 63 Golubic in the final. Golubic moved through when Madison Keys withdrew with a respiratory illness on Saturday.

Keys is currently seventh in the RTS standings.

Svetlana Kuznetsova is also still alive in the hunt for one of the last two Singapore spots. She had her semifinal in Tianjin washed out by rain. The Russian will face Alison Riske in the semifinals, and if she wins she will face either Peng Shuai or Danka Kovinic in the final.
