Andy Murray continued his dominance over towering American John Isner with a 6-1, 6-3 cakewalk in Vienna to set up a semifinal with David Ferrer at the Erste Open.

Murray has now won 13th consecutive matches and owns a 68-9 record on the season.

He has also won 18 of 21 sets against Isner.

Murray broke the vaunted Isner serve four times on nine opportunities and saved all three break points he faced in the second set to cruise in 75 minutes.

Ferrer defeated Viktor Troicki in three sets and will square off with Murray for the 21st time on Saturday. Murray owns a 14-6 lifetime record against the Spaniard. He has won the last seven against Ferrer, which includes a victory over the then No.5 Ferrer in three sets in the 2014 Vienna final.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga kept his slim Singapore hopes alive with a win over Albert Ramos-Vinolas in Friday’s second of four quarterfinals. It was the Frenchman’s 5th victory in five matches with the Spaniard. Tsonga adds 90 points to his Race to London total with the win but he’s still over 600 points behind 8th place Tomas Berdych.

Tsonga will face Ivo Karlovic in the semifinals on Saturday. The 37-year-old Croatian saved a match point in the second set to defeat Russia’s Karen Khachanov, 6-7(5), 7-6(5), 6-3.

Karlovic has defeated Tsonga the last two times they played, with each match coming at Wimbledon.
