Agassi Halloween

Halloween provided tennis with a nice respite from the 24/7/12 grind of tour life.

The season may be winding down, but the enthusiasm for tennis is still there. Oh, wait, did we say tennis? We meant Halloween. Tennis took a break from reality on Monday to dress up as superheroes and the like, and some of the results were quite staggering. As in multiple Grand Slam titles in the same year staggering. But enough about tennis, let’s get to the costumes.

1. Gotta start with American Shelby Rogers, who was clearly all-in on this dinosaur costume (excuse us ahead of time if we incorrectly name any of these costumes—looks like a dinosaur to us, and time’s a wastin’.)

2. Genie Bouchard got a zillion retweets for this Kim Kardashian imitation. We’re not sure how we feel about it.

3. Masha as Pippi? Yes. A+ stuff from the Russian.

4. Looks like Caro’s a GIANT—and we mean GIGANTE—pumpkin. Sold nicely with the smile.

5. Steffi gets a plus, Andre gets a meh, and the dog gets all the treats.

6. Far out, Tracy Austin. No, we mean REALLY OUT OF SIGHT AND GROOVY costume!

7. Heather Watson is kind of militaristic commando in this costume. It’s fun. Would be better if there was video of her parachuting off that deck.

8. We think Conchita Martinez needs to get a hold of Tracy Austin. Peace out, sistah, you’re scaring us.

9. We don’t know if this is a costume. It’s hard to tell w/ Boris Becker.

10. Because this costume, and the execution, is a perfect ten, we’re sharing this video from Shelby Rogers as our final Halloween tweet. Hope you all had a great time trick-or-treating. Or ignoring trick-or-treaters. It’s November now—let’s get back to the tennis, shall we?
