There will be no men’s singles final at the Delray Beach Open this year. Jack Sock has been awarded the title after Milos Raonic announced his withdrawal due to an injury just over an hour before the final.

Tennis Channel announced the news a little after 10 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, and news immediately broke on Twitter, saying that Raonic’s injury was a hamstring injury. The Canadian was making his debut at Delray Beach and defeated Juan Martin del Potro, 6-3, 7-6(6), on Saturday night.

Raonic later did an interview with Tennis Channel's Sam Gore to explain his injury.

He said he injured his right leg in the second set of his victory over Del Potro and initially didn't think much of it.

"I didn't think muuch of it," said Raonic. "I thought it was just tightness from the match, but this morning I woke up unable to walk properly and did quite extensive treatment with my team. We came down to the conclusion that it was a slight tear of the hamstring in my right leg."

Sock, who defeated Donald Young, 6-4, 7-6(2) in Saturday’s first semifinal, gets his third career title and second of the season.
