Kasatkina is the youngest player remaining in the draw and will face Garbine Muguruza in the semifinals on Friday. She improves to 7-5 on the season and 17-8 lifetime against fellow Russians after her win over Elena Vesnina. Kasatkina earned 12 break points against Vesnina in nine return games, converting four.
