Keeping up with the game of tennis, by the numbers. Each day at Tennis Now we’ll give you a fresh set—without any further ado, here’s what happened on Friday:

15

Number of consecutive wins for Pablo Cuevas in Sao Paulo. The Uruguayan outlasted Leonardo Mayer in three sets on Friday to book a semifinal with Fabio Fognini on Saturday. As funny as it seems, Cuevas has not faced a Top 20 player in his three-plus year run of perfection at Sao Paulo. It will be interesting to see if he can keep it going against the enigmatic but wildly talented Italian on Saturday.

6

Number of consecutive semifinals won by France’s Lucas Pouille. Today he defeated Filip Krajinovic to reach the Dubai final. None of Pouille’s wins in the six previous semifinals have been against higher-ranked players, however.

Also of note is the fact that if Pouille can defeat Roberto Bautista Agut in Saturday’s Dubai final he will make his Top 10 debut.

0-8

With her win over Sweden’s Rebecca Peterson, Switzerland’s Stefanie Voegele won her first WTA semifinal and booked a spot on the Abierto Mexicano Telcel final in Acapulco. She had lost her first eight WTA semifinal matches. Voegele, aged 27 and ranked 183, will face defending champion Lesia Tsurenko in the final.

9

Number of consecutive victories that Lesia Tsurenko has earned in Acapulco. The defending champion has won 15 consecutive completed sets at the Abierto Mexicano (she twice earned retirements during last year’s title run), and she has won 99 games while losing just 38.

3

Number of finals that Kevin Anderson and Lucas Pouille have reached this season. Both will bid for title No.2 of 2018 on Saturday.

10

Number of wins notched since the beginning of February by 22-year-old Chilean Nicolas Jarry. He has reached back-to-back semifinals at Rio and Sao Paulo and has won 10 of 12 matches in the last five weeks. Pretty incredible for a player that had earned just five ATP wins prior to this season (he is 11-4 in 2018).

5

Number of times that Juan Martin del Potro has won three consecutive matches against the Top 10. He will bid to make it six on Saturday when he faces Kevin Anderson in the Acapulco final. The Argentine owns a career record of 48-73 against the Top 10. By comparison, Anderson owns a record of 12 and 57 against the Top 10, and he is 0-6 against Del Potro
