The length of Novak Djokovic’s current winning streak after his straight-sets victory over Kevin Anderson on Friday in Shanghai. The Serb is 25-1 since the beginning of Wimbledon and can reclaim the No.2 ranking for the first time in over a year if he advances to the Shanghai final or if Federer does not win the title.

Number of finals that Roger Federer has played in 2018. The Swiss, who has won three titles, will bid to reach his seventh final of 2018 when he faces Borna Coric on Saturday in Shanghai. Federer defeated Kei Nishikori on Friday to book a spot in his 63rd career Masters 1000 final. He is third on the all-time Masters 1000 title list with 27 (Nadal has 33 and Djokovic has 31).
Federer owns a 2-1 lifetime record against Coric.

Number of victories earned by Alexander Zverev in 2018. The German, who owns a 22-6 Masters 1000 record this season, now leads the ATP in wins overall and wins at Masters 1000 events. He’ll face Novak Djokovic in Saturday’s semis at Shanghai.
Zverev has won his only previous meeting with Djokovic in the 2017 Rome final. The German also clinched his spot in the NITTO ATP Finals last night, becoming the fifth ATP player to qualify for the event.

The current ranking of Switzerland’s Timea Bacsinszky, who his bidding to become the lowest-ranked WTA semifinalist since 2002 (Myriam Casanova, 348, Budapest) when she faces Karolina Pliskova in the semifinals at Tianjin. According to Alex Macpherson of the WTA, Bacsinszky would be the fourth WTA finalist ranked beneath No.200 this year following Mandy Minella in Gstaad, Anastasia Potapova at the Moscow River Cup, Jessica Pegula in Québec City and Margarita Gasparyan in Tashkent.
