Lucky loser Coco Gauff delivered her biggest career win in Linz.

The 15-year-old phenom toppled world No.8 Kiki Bertens 7-6(1), 6-4 scoring her first Top 10 win and charging her first WTA semifinal in Linz. Gauff is the youngest woman to reach a WTA semifinal since Nicole Vaidisova won Tashkent in October 2004.

"I'm really happy and proud of myself," said Gauff afterward.

Gauff, who fell in the second round of Upper Austria Ladies Linz qualifying, gained entry into the main draw due to a withdrawal and has made a resounding run this week.

Continuing her quest for her first career WTA singles final, Gauff will play Andrea Petkovic for a spot in the championship match.

Former world No. 9 Petkovic stopped Slovakia’s Viktoria Kuzmova 6-4, 6-1 surging into her first WTA semifinal of the season.

There was only one break point in the opening set, which Bertens saved holding for 4-all. Turning up her aggression in the tie break, Gauff burst through six straight points to seize a one-set lead.

The Delray Beach, Florida baseliner denied two break points navigating a 10-point hold for 1-all in the second set.

Still ruing lost opportunity, Bertens fell into a triple break point hole in the next game.

Gauff converted her third break-point chance for a 2-1 lead. That proved to be the lone break of the match as Gauff was never pushed to deuce in her final four service games.
