Perfect in Melbourne. That’s a good way to sum up the performance of Novak Djokovic in Sunday night’s Australian Open final. The World No.1 improved to 9-0 in Australian Open finals with his 7-5, 6-2, 6-2 triumph over Russia’s Daniil Medvedev. Djokovic closes the gap in the Grand Slam race to just two Slams, by locking up his 18th major title. Both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have 20.

Here’s how Twitter is reacting to Djokovic’s latest crowning achievement.

1. Novak to the nines.

2. And the race tightens.

3. Meddy sends a message.

4.The moment of triumph.

5. Inevitable. Kind of sums it up.

6. 18 Slams and counting.

7. Nine in Australia makes Novak the second man to win more than eight at the same major.

8. Since 2008, if you’re name is not Djokovic, good luck winning the title in Australia. It has happened just five times.

9. Heh.

10. Great speech by Medvedev.

11. Great moment just after the match, that not many saw.

12. Once again, Djokovic is hell on a server.

13. Trophy hoarding indeed.

14. R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

15. Lacoste had a good final—so did Asics.
