2021 is here and with it comes a sense of renewed hope that, at the very least, this year will be better than the last. 2020 earned a perfect 10 on the horrible scale and here’s hoping that 2021 marks the beginning of a long slog back to normalcy for the global community. It won’t happen all at once, but as we turn the page on the calendar, we can begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And, with that in mind, we can find a similar sense of hope inside the tennis community. Let’s celebrate the beginning of a new year--and new hope--with the game’s stars…

1. Out with the old says Italy’s Matteo Berrettini.

2. Papa Nole and his family wishes love, laughter and light.

4. Elina Svitolina is in “New Me” mode as 2021 begins.

5. Stay healthy and happy, and preferably with puppy, says Svetlana Kuznetsova.

6. Dominika Cibulkova, who gave birth to her baby boy in June, has every reason to celebrate.

7. Serena Williams is dancing into the new year with Run DMC providing the soundtrack.

8. Nice to see you 2021, says Simona Halep. Our sentiments exactly.

9. It’s up to us to make it good, says Victoria Azarenka. Indeed.

10. Why not kick of 2021 with a kiss? Fabio Fognini and Flavia Pennetta have the right idea.

11. Stefanos and the boys step out for some fun.

12. Health and happiness from Angelique Kerber.

13. Petra Kvitova is keying in on the lessons she’s learned in 2020 and hopeful for a better 2021.

14. A message from mama Ninja, Agnieszka Radwanska, who also became a mother in 2020.

15. And finally, we commence 2021 just like we started 2020. Chasing the eternal summer and the love of the sport.
