Filip Krajinovic will battle Pablo Carreno Busta in the Hamburg European Open final, with both players bidding for their first 500-level trophy, and Krajinovic bidding for his maiden ATP title.

Krajinovic, seeded sixth, came through an all-Serbian battle, defeating Laslo Djere, 6-4, 6-2, to reach his fourth career final. He defeated top-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas for his third career Top-5 win on Friday at Hamburg.


Carreno Busta, the No.2 seed, topped Federico Delbonis, 7-6(2), 6-3, and will bid for his sixth ATP title.

Carreno Busta improved to an impressive 16-4 on clay for the season (22-9 overall), but he trails the head-to-head with Krajinovic, 1-0 (Krajinovic d. Carreno Busta at Stockholm, SF, 2019: 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.

The pair have split their two meetings at the challenger level, both on clay.
