Ivan Lendl won 94 ATP titles as a player in his impressive career, second-most in Open Era history.
On Sunday in Brisbane, he added his "first" as a coach.
Great Britain's Andy Murray, who hired Lendl as his coach two weeks ago, mopped the floor with Ukraine's Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-1, 6-3 to win the Brisbane International title, the 22nd of his impressive young career.
Murray hired Lendl for the expressed purpose of breaking through to win his first Grand Slam title, but he'll certainly take Brisbane for now, particularly when it came in such impressive fashion against a fellow Top 20 player.
Murray improved to 3-0 against Dolgopolov.
He was close to perfect in both sets, saving two break points, converting two against his opponent, serving five aces and hitting 15 of 17 first serves for winners in the first set.
The next set was 'second verse, same as the first' for the Scot as he aced Dolgopolov four times and broke his serve thrice.
