Victoria Azarenka announced her withdrawal from upcoming events in Madrid and Rome as she continues recovering from injury.

World No. 4 Victoria Azarenka will not compete at upcoming events in Madrid and Rome as she recovers from an ongoing foot injury.

Azarenka posted the following message on her Twitter account letting her fans know about her decision.
The two-time Australian Open winner continues to recover from a left foot injury she suffered earlier this season. Her last match was a second round loss to Lauren Davis at Indian Wells in March.
Azarenka also withdrew from events in Miami, Doha and Monterrey. Azarenka is on the player entry list for the French Open, although there is no official word yet if she will compete at the second Grand Slam event of the year.
