The final match up for men’s doubles has been decided as the number one-ranked
Bob and Mike Bryan, beat out Eric Butorac and Jean-Julien Rojer in straight and easy sets, 6-3, 6-2. The top-ranked Bryan Brothers have won the title for Australian Open four out the last five years.   The underdog team of Eric Butorac and Jean-Julien Rojer lost to the top-ranked team, but certainly made a following for themselves, quickly becoming the favorites of fans.

In the other deciding match, the third-ranked team of
Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes beat out the second-ranked Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 6-3. Though the pair of Bhupathi and Paes has gone through a series of relationship troubles, the team seems well on track and looks to give the Bryans a serious run for the title. With a final win, the team will gain themselves a career Grand Slam.

The final will take place tomorrow evening on Rod Laver court. Stay tuned to Tennis Now for updates!
