Bob and Mike Bryan can celebrate yet another milestone achievement in their stellar career a week before contending for the U.S. Open title in New York.

With their title run last Sunday at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, the Bryans clinched the year-end No. 1 Emirates ATP Doubles team ranking for a record ninth time and for the fifth consecutive season.

Cincinnati was the twins' 10th title of the season, which includes winning the Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon. It was also their 92nd career title.

The Bryans now enter next week's U.S. Open attempting to become the first team in the Open Era to complete a calendar year Grand Slam. The last team to do so was Ken McGregor and Frank Sedgman back in 1951.

"To clinch the year-end No. 1 ranking this early in the season is a dream come true,” Bob Bryan said to ATP.com. “It's always our ultimate goal starting out each season and this will give us great confidence going into New York. There is still a lot of tennis left and we want to keep our foot on the gas."
