David Goffin keeps on winning.

The eighth seeded Belgian picked up yet up another title this season at the Moselle Open in Metz, France. Goffin knocked out top seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga earlier in the tournament to reach Sunday's final.

Waiting for him was Joao Sousa who took out another Frenchman, Gael Monfils, in the semifinals. Yet the final was all about Goffin.

The Belgian rarely looked in danger of losing after going up a set and a break. After it was done, Goffin celebrated the 6-4, 6-3 victory.

"I had to play aggressively today, dictate the game," Goffin said to ATPWorldTour.com. "The tactics worked out well and I served well. I was able to focus until the end."

Goffin has now won 34 out of his last 36 matches. Winning the Metz final marks his 50th career tour win.

Metz is now Goffin's second title this season having won Kitzbuhel earlier. He is now projected to climb into the top 40 rankings next week after having started the season outside the top 100.

Goffin also becomes the fourth player with a birthday in the 1990s who has won multiple ATP titles. That list also includes Grigor Dimitrov, Milos Raonic, and Bernard Tomic.
