In the last remaining round robin match at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, Novak Djokovic made it a winning one against France's Richard Gasquet.

Though Djokovic secured his spot in Sunday's semifinals earlier in the week, both men were playing for coveted ranking points and prize money to the winner.

Djokovic took an early break in the opening set and soon found himself serving for it at 5-4. But a loose game from Djokovic allowed Gasquet to break right back for 5-all.

Forced into a tiebreak a few games later, Djokovic resumed control by taking the set 7-6(5).

But Gasquet didn't back down as he went onto to earn a quick break of serve in the second set. From there, Gasquet pocketed the second set 6-4.

Djokovic resumed his command in the final set with another key break of serve. Serving for the match up 5-3, Djokovic unleashed his sixth ace on match point to seal the 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-3 win.

Celebrating with a healthy roar and several fist pumps, Djokovic enjoyed knowing that he not only extended his current win streak to 20 victories, but that he had also notched his 70th win of the season. 2013 marks the fourth year Djokovic has earned 70 wins in one season.

Gasquet himself made news off court before the start of the match when it was revealed he had parted ways with his coach Riccardo Piatti. Piatti was credited for helping Gasquet return to the top ten this year. Gasquet has not yet revealed what his new coaching situation will be.

Djokovic will now take on Stanislas Wawrinka in the second semifinal on Sunday.
