Has Roger Federer tilted the tennis world on its axis again? It certainly seemed that way on Twitter today.

Roger Federer is back, Novak Djokovic is out of whack, and the tennis world as we know it is tilting on its axis again. At least you would think so if you were on Twitter during Federer's 3-6, 6-3 6-2 takedown of Djokovic in today's Dubai Duty Free Tennis semifinals.

The apparent return of Federer's refined, regal mastery was celebrated vociferously, and while Djokovic may have twice the following on the 140-character phenom, it was Federer's praise that was sung loudly all morning long.

But it wasn't just Federer that tweeps were getting excited about. Djokovic, though inconsistent and clearly not at his best, played some pretty mean tennis today, too, and together these two rivals sent thunderbolts of cheer through the television and computer monitors of the masses, many of whom who were fixated less on the outcome and more on the rather resplendent tennis that was being played.
