Sara Errani French Open (January 27, 2013) -- World No. 1 and top seed Novak Djokovic successfully defended his Australian Open title for the second consecutive year, defeating third seed Andy Murray 6-7(2), 7-6(3), 6-3, 6-2.

The first break of serve did not come until almost three hours into the match, with Murray dumping a forehand into a net to go down 5-3 in the third set. Djokovic then held to go up 2-1.

Murray, hampered by blisters and hamstring ailments throught the latter half of the battle, was no match for Djokovic, who seemed to get fresher as the match progressed.

This is Djokovic's fourth Australian Open title and third title in a row. He first won the title in 2008.
