John Isner Reaches Winston Salem Third Round

(August 23, 2011) World No. 28 John Isner advanced to the third round of the Winston Salem Open after he defeated 94th-ranked Dudi Sela of Israel 7-6 (3), 6-2 on Tuesday.
Isner was as dominant as expected on his serve. He hit 17 aces, won 74 percent of his service points and saved four break point opportunities, while he also broke Sela twice in the second set.
The tall American is gunning for his second title of the year. He won the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships in July.
Bulgarian teenager Grigor Dimitrov, the 14th seed, was the last seed to win in the early part of the day after he took down Donald Young 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 (2).
Twenty-five-year-old Pierre-Ludovic Duclos, ranked No. 323, scored the biggest upset of the day when he defeated American teenager Ryan Harrison 7-5, 7-5.
