Li Na hasn't had the success in 2012 that she enjoyed in 2011, but she
put down rumors on Monday that she's taking it out on her coach, who also happens to be her husband.

Last year, Li was aided by Denmark's Fed Cup captain Michael Mortensen during the clay court season, which resulted in her winning the French Open, her first Grand Slam victory.

"I don't know why the media are so interested," Li told China Daily of her coaching choices. "Maybe you are not so confident in Jiang and my current team.

Husband Jiang Shan had been her coach during the Australian Open, which she lost the final of, and resumed as her coach after the 2011 US Open.

Li went 32-17 overall in 2011 - 15-3 under Mortensen on clay and 17-14 under Shan. She has started this season 13-5 under Shan's tutelage.

Li has spaced out her schedule to give her ample time to prepare for the 2012 Summer Olympics at Wimbledon that begin July 27.

"After the French Open, I won't play any matches until Wimbledon," she said in the newspaper. "After Wimbledon, I'll go back to China for two days and then see my doctor in Germany. Then, I will go to London one week before the Olympics to adjust to the grass court."

Li, 30, believes this might be her last shot at an Olympic medal. She lost the bronze medal match in China at the 2008 Beijing Summer Games four years ago.
