Martina Navratilova won 10 mixed doubles Grand Slam titles during her storied tennis career.

Now she'll see if she can partner with dancing pro Tony Dovolani in an attempt to win the coveted mirror ball trophy on the upcoming season of ABC's hit reality TV series Dancing with the Stars.

At 55 years old, Navratilova is the second most-senior competitor on this season only to 67-year-old R&B legend Gladys Knight.

It's not Navratilova's first foray into the world of reality television. In 2008, she appeared on the UK's "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" and finishe second.
Navratilova said she is looking forward to the competition and has been courted by the show for a while.

"They've been asking for years, and either I didn't have the time to commit or I couldn't picture myself in those high heels," Navratilova said in an interview. "I haven't done anything this intense since I quit playing in 1994. But I think my body's going to like it, it will be like coming home."

Although she's listed as a 20-to-1 shot to win the dancing competition (yes, you can gamble on who will win Dancing with the Stars), Navratilova is not one to lack for confidence, referring to herself as "the most dominant tennis player ever" on her website.

She'll hope to do better than the only other pro tennis player to compete on the American version of the show.  Monica Seles appeared during the show's sixth seson in the spring of 2008 and was the second contestant eliminated, outdancing Penn Jilette but not the formidable likes of Steve Guttenberg and Priscilla Presley.
