Nadal Withdraws From Toronto

Rafael Nadal withdraws from the Rogers Cup 2012 in Toronto (August 2, 2012) -- Rafael Nadal and the organizers of the Rogers Cup tournament in Toronto announced today that he will not be participating in this year's event, held August 4-12, 2012.

"I am not ready to play," said Nadal via his Facebook page. "I am continuing with my [recuperation] and practice." Organizers also listed David Ferrer, Fernando Verdasco, and Gael Monfils as withdrawals.
