We're only halfway through the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells, but Wednesday will feature several key matches leading into the final rounds. Here's what to watch for.

Men's side: As upsets aplenty continue to go down in the men's draw, opportunity abounds for those left standing. One player looking to avoid going home early is Andy Murray. The No. 5 seed struggled in his last match and will now take on big serving No. 10 seed Milos Raonic, who owns two wins against the Scot.

Roger Federer will take on good friend Tommy Haas. Stanislas Wawrinka, who continues to look the sharpest out of all the top men's seeds, collides against the recent in-form Kevin Anderson.

No. 12 seed John Isner will try to keep American hopes alive as he faces No. 30 seed Fernando Verdasco, who continues his good run in the desert.

Alexandr Dolgopolov, fresh off of knocking out defending champion Rafael Nadal, now faces the volatile showman Fabio Fognini of Italy.

The night match will feature No. 2 seed Novak Djokovic. Though he's never lost to his opponent Marin Cilic, the Croat is currently enjoying having won 20 matches this season.

Women's side: The first two women's quarterfinals will be decided on Wednesday. Australian Casey Dellacqua will play one of the biggest matches of her career against world No. 7 Simona Halep of Romania.

Halep, who beat Eugenie Bouchard in three sets on Tuesday, is poised to reach the top five based on her results at Indian Wells.

The marquee night match features two of the WTA's biggest stars in Jelena Jankovic versus Agnieszka Radwanska. Though Radwanska leads the head to head 4-1, these two haven't played each other since Tokyo 2012. Expect this one to be a thriller.

Doubles: Top seeds Bob and Mike Bryan will meet the all-French team of Nicolas Mahut and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Federer and Wawrinka, after their singles, will have their hands full later on the doubles court when they take on the solid team of Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek.
