Oren Motevassel wins the 2012 USPTA Championships (September 21, 2012) -- Oren Motevassel of Sunnyvale, Calif., won the men’s open title at the USPTA International Championships Wednesday at The Beach and Tennis Club Pebble Beach in Monterey, Calif.

Motevassel earned the championship title by going undefeated in round robin play.  He also won the Men’s 40 Singles, by defeating Kamil Kuchta, Boynton Beach, Fla., 6-2, 6-2.
 
The championships are open only to USPTA-certified tennis professionals and were played as part of the USPTA’s World Conference on Tennis, the premier educational event of the tennis industry. The conference was scheduled Sept. 16-21 at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa in Monterey, Calif. (Results: All 2012 USPTA Championships categories)
