(May 26th, 2012) Agnieszka Radwanska endured a few tough moments this week, but she fulfilled her top seed by winning her third title of the year in Brussels with a straight sets win over Simona Halep.

While Halep was playing in her first ever career WTA tour final, Radwanska was seeking her third title of the year having already won in Dubai and Miami. The first set looked like it might be a long afternoon for the current World No. 3 as Halep exchanged several breaks of serve with Radwanska who appeared a tad weary on court.

Halep earned a 5-4 lead and served for the set, but it was all Radwanska after that as she won the next 10 games and the final 9 points of the match to secure a 7-5, 6-0 victory and with it her 10th career WTA title.

"On clay I think I need longer to warm up, not just the five minutes before the match," Radwanska said. "At the end I won nine games in a row - it was a good comeback, I think. And it's always great to win a tournament."

Radwanska enters Roland Garros as the No. 3 seed, her highest seeding ever at a Grand Slam event. She is scheduled to meet Serbia's Bojana Jovanovski in the first round.
