Christian Garin (February 6, 2013) -- 16-year-old Chilean up-and-comer Christian Garin became just the fifth player aged 16-and-under to win an ATP-level match since 2000 on Tuesday when he defeated Dusan Lajovic, 6-3, 6-4 in Vina del Mar, Chile.

It remains to be seen what the World No. 920 will do with the rest of his career, but if he ends up anything like the other four players to have accomplished the feat, he’s got a lot to look forward to.

Here are the five players aged 16 or younger to have won an ATP match since 2000:

1. Richard Gasquet (2002) 15 yrs 10 months
2. Rafael Nadal (2002) 15 yrs 10 months
3. Ryan Harrison (2008) 15 yrs 11 months
4. Bernard Tomic (2009) 16 years 3 months (youngest player to win Australian Open main draw match)
5. Christian Garin (2013), ranked 920, 2013 16 years 9 months

One list that Garin wasn't able to make was the list of players to win an ATP-level match before his 16th birthday. Making that list bodes pretty well for a successful career too, but nobody has reached it in over a decade:

1. Franco Davin (1985) 15 yrs 1 month
2. Tommy Ho (1988) 15 yrs 2 months
3. Michael Chang (1987) 15 yrs 6 months
4. Jimmy Arias (1980) 15 yrs 7 months
5. Andre Agassi (1986) 15 yrs 9 months
6. Bjorn Borg (1972) 15 yrs 10 months
7. Mats Wilander (1980) 15 yrs 10 months
8. Richard Gasquet (2002) 15 yrs 10 months
9. Rafael Nadal(2002) 15 yrs 10 months
10. Ryan Harrison (2008) 15 yrs 11 months

Garin, who practiced with Rafael Nadal on Friday in Vina del Mar, will face Jeremy Chardy next.
