Jurgen Melzer (February 8, 2013) -- Jurgen Melzer joined the ATP's 300 club with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Lukas Rosol in the PDZ Zagreb quarterfinals on Friday.

With the win, the former World No. 8 becomes the 17th active player to reach the 300-win plateau on the ATP tour. Melzer, who will turn 32 this May, won a career-best 51 matches in 2010, but since 2011 began the Austrian has only won a total of 48.

"Of course it shows that I have had a good career so far, and when I started playing tennis I never dreamed of winning 300 matches on tour, especially reaching the Top 10," said Melzer. "Winning 300 matches is something big."
