(December 5, 2010) Tommy Haas has a new title – dad – but the first-time father insists he is not ready to retire from tennis just yet. Once the World No. 2, he has had to drop out previously due to injury and family emergency for two years in 2002-2004 but came back strong and believes he can do it again.

The former Australian Open semifinalist will miss next month’s Australian Open as he continues recovery from right arm surgery, but the 32-year-old Haas says he is committed to making another comeback. The last time viewers got to see him play was at Delray Beach where he didn't make it past the first round.

"It is too early for me to come back," Haas told the German publication Bild. "But I assure you my daughter will see her dad play tennis.”

After becoming a US Citizen in January, his daughter was born to him and his wife Sara Foster on November 14, 2010.

If and when he does come back like he plans, what kind of success do you expect him to have?
