Tony Bennett To Sing A Smile At Indian Wells' Hit For Haiti

(March 11, 2010) The highly-anticipated Hit For Haiti charity exhibition at Indian Wells tomorrow night will conclude with a smile.

Avid tennis fan and legendary singer Tony Bennett, the 15-time Grammy Award winning musical artist, will perform the legendary song "Smile" to conclude the BNP Paribas
Open Hit for Haiti exhibition on Friday night.

Andre Agassi and Rafael Nadal will play Pete Sampras and Roger Federer in the men's doubles with Steffi Graf partnering Lindsay Davenport and Justine Henin teaming with Martina Navratilova in the women's doubles exhibition.

Queens native Bennett is a long-time supporter of charity and tennis. He is a mainstay at the US Open each year.

With worldwide record sales in the millions, and dozens of platinum and gold albums
to his credit, Bennett is one of the most successful musicians of all time. He has been honored by the United Nations for his life-long commitment to humanitarian efforts. Bennett and his wife have founded a school in New York City.
