Tweet O' the Day: Kerber's Sweet Muse

(September 23, 2012) -- Tennis fans have been blown away by Angelique Kerber's marked improvement ever since she reached the U.S. Open semifinals in 2011. She finished that year at a career-best No. 32 in the world, and this year, after leveraging her breakthrough year into consistent play and major scalps (including an upset of Serena Williams in the round of 16 at Cincinnati), she's destined for her first top ten finish and first appearance at the WTA Championships in Istanbul. 

What tennis fans didn't know is what keeps the German motivated to stay at the top. It might be a sweet tooth.
