Vika says Hello to Tokyo

(Sep 20, 2012)  -- What makes a good tweet? It's a good question, and really, one without an answer. Still, we wonder: In a world that is polluted with the banal, how do you find the gem?

There's only one way: Scour the lists.

When we scoured ours today, we came across this deep, philosophical tweet from World No. 1 Victoria Azarenka. Okay, maybe it's not deep or philosophical, but can't we at least agree that it's kind of funny? She probably didn't mean for it to be funny, but who knew that the word "Hello" could be spelled with 27 O's? (might that be a record?)

This tweet is unabashedly Vika, and maybe even predictably so, and that's why we like it. Upon reading, one can sense Azarenka's inner rock star just dying to come out. It's a simple tweet, yet highly effective in making its point: The woman is ready to party (By party, I mean crush two-handed  backand returns and howl like a banshee while doing so).
