Rory and Wozniacki

This week in Twitter we learned that golfers make good lovers and tennis players make good cuddle buddies--or something to that effect.

When Maria Sharapova tweets her thoughts about cuddle buddies, tweeple listen. When Caroline Wozniacki sinks a 30-foot putt and makes out with Rory McIlroy, people gawk. Yep, it was that kind of week on Twitter.

Without any further ado, here are the tweets of the week.

1. Last week was a great week for Andrea Petkovic. She won a title in Charleston, danced 'til her heart was content, and signed some dummie's face...

2. Go ahead tennis fans, let your imagination run wild...

3. Things have been tough for the American women this season, both on the court and off.

4. Reporter: “Roger, you've struggled to find your rhythm with Stan in doubles.” Roger: “Well, Stan is like a deer in the headlights, don't blame me. The guy couldn't volley his way out of a paper bag right now.”

5. San Diego was an awesome Davis Cup venue, but seriously, can it get any better then an intimate court like this, backed up against the lapping waves of the Tyrrhenian Sea?

6. Speaking of Davis Cup, here's our caption for this photo of Fabio Fognini: AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

7. Don't sweat it Laura, it's just OCD—all tennis players suffer from it.

8. It's like Andy Roddick graduated high school, but his sense of humor has since remained in third grade. Don't ever change, A-Rod!

9. More players should make out with their caddies. Golf is far too boring.

10. If you jump in the pool after a second-round match, what do you do if you win the tournament, sky dive into a glass of water?

11. (Because this one goes to 11): Only Roger would have a wall that accurately depicts the slope of the net from the posts to the center. That is peRFect.
