Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams have not played a lot of compelling matches in the last few years, but the back-and-forth on Twitter is always good.

We are fast coming up on the 10-year anniversary of Maria Sharapova's last victory over Serena Williams, and, fifteen difficult—and mostly lopsided—losses later, there doesn't seem to be any relief in sight for the Russian.

After today's 6-4, 6-3 loss to Williams, a match in which Sharapova had leads in each set, it is starting to feel like Maria Sharapova's day will never come against the 17-time Grand Slam champion.
That's morbid news for some tennis fans, who time and time again tune in hoping for that one truly epic encounter between these two legends of the women's game. But for others on Twitter, it's an opportunity to make light of the situation. Hey, a rivalry gives you lemons, why not make some lemonade?
