U.S. to Open 2013 Davis Cup with Brazil at Home

The U.S. team last faced Brazil in 1997, and they have won three of four previous encounters against them.

Davis Cup 2013: U.S. Opens Against Brazil at Home (September 20, 2012) -- The Americans, who have won the Davis Cup 32 times but only once in the last 15 years, will host the Brazilians, marking only the second time the Americans have played at home in nine ties since 2009. 

The U.S. team last faced Brazil in 1997, and they have won three of four previous encounters against them.  

This year's Davis Cup final, the 100th in history, will be contested by Spain and the Czech Republic from Nov. 16-18.

Here are the other World Group pairings, to take place from February 1-3, 2013:

Spain at Canada

Croatia at Italy

Serbia at Belgium

Israel at France

Germany at Argentina

Austria at Kazakhstan

Czech Republic at Switzerland
