Victoria Azarenka is back.

After missing several months due to an ongoing foot injury, the former No. 1 is planning her return next week.

The two-time Australian Open champion accepted a wildcard into next week's Aegon International event at Eastbourne. Azarenka hopes to build up her fitness leading into Wimbledon later this month.

“I've worked hard to rehabilitate my injury and to get fit for my return,” Azarenka said in a statement on the tournament's website. “I've played at Eastbourne three times and always enjoyed it. The grass courts are world class which will give me the best possible start to the second half of the season, and the perfect preparation for Wimbledon."

Azarenka last played in March where she lost to Lauren Davis in the second round of Indian Wells.

In 2010, Azarenka reached the finals of Eastbourne. Agnieszka Radwanska, Petra Kvitova and Caroline Wozniacki will join her there next week in the draw.
