"Bandannas=cool. Headbands=dorky." -- Stephanie Myles, tennis blogger for the Montreal Gazette, via Twitter. 


"Andy Roddick drops 10 spots to No. 27, his lowest ranking since he was 18 years old. That's a wow." -- James LaRosa, Tennis Channel blogger, via Twitter. 


"There's a significant gap from where I am and where I need to be." -- Andy Roddick, commenting on his run of poor play and poor health of late to reporters in San Jose.

"I think the biggest difference is probably just her confidence that she's playing with at the moment." -- Sam Stosur, on Victoria Azarenka, who defeated Stosur to win the Doha title yesterday.
