Caroline Wozniacki (October 31, 2012) -- Former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki has decided to keep her tennis career once again in the family.

Dutch news source Ekstra Bladet reports that Wozniacki herself decided not to renew a coaching partnership with former Australian Open champion Thomas Johansson that began at the start of this year's U.S. Open. According to Wozniacki's father, it was his daughter and not him who made the final decision.

"Caroline wanted to go back to the old solution with me as a coach and with the support of Adidas," said Piotr Wozniacki in the interview. "The agreement with Thomas ran thus only after the U.S. Open. We have chosen not to make a new deal."

This recent coaching switch is just the latest in a series of trial coaching partnerships that both Caroline and Piotr Wozniacki have tried all season since the former No. 1 lost in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. Wozniacki first started working with Ricardo Sanchez but that ended abruptly with Sanchez later saying he was never allowed to fully work with the U.S. Open finalist.

Wozniacki then later in the spring tried having Adidas training team coach Sven Groeneveld work with her on a full-time basis but that arrangement soon ended with Groeneveld now just continuing to consult her as needed.

Wozniacki, who won two WTA titles late in the season, is the top seed at this week's WTA Tournament of Champions in Sofia, Bulgaria.
