Video: A Really, Really Happy Fan Takes a Selfie with Serena Williams at Wimbledon



It was a good day for Serena Williams on Tuesday. The five-time Wimbledon champion averaged more than two aces per service game in her 6-1, 6-2 victory over Anna Tatishvili on Centre Court, and even though Williams stumbled a few times on the slick Centre Court grass, the world No. 1 set the tone nicely for what she hopes will be an 18th Grand Slam title.

But as good as Williams’ Tuesday was, it likely wasn’t as good as this fan’s day. Watch as this extremely excited woman gets a selfie with the American then struggles for the next thirty seconds at controlling her emotions. When Serena decides to give her the headband as well, naturally the woman goes bonkers. It's as if she's just been blessed by the pope, or had her vision restored after a months-long fit of blindness, or, well, you get the picture.

Our bet is that this woman would have a tough time managing her nerves in the final set of, say, a Wimbledon final, but as far as reactions to selfies with celebrities go, she’s pretty darn solid.
